Paracord Type 1 has a very similar tensile strength to Micro Cord, 46KG compared to that of Type 1 which is 45KG, type one paracord is quick a bit thicker though at 1.9mm compared to that of Micro Cord which is 1.18mm thick. Our paracord type 1 is manufactured in Nylon compared to Micro Cord which is Polyester which is less likely to have some shrinkage when wet estimated at around 5 – 10%.
